  1. It is worth noting that I am having the same exact error message every since the most recent software update. I have a brand new computer running Windows 8.1. Though I didn't go through the insane malware checking in this thread, I did run the clean re-install of your software that is often recommended on this site when issues arise. For a day everything was working fine and then MB started throwing the same error message again. This must be Malwarebytes issue.
  2. Hey Mike. Could you just explain what exactly to do with the taskkill /im mbam.exe /f /t in terms of creating the Task? I understand that it should come after update and before the full scan, but what EXACTLY do you put in the Task Scheduler for it? Usually you select a program (i.e. mbam.exe) and than add the command line stuff after that. I tried and it didn't work, so obviously I am not understanding fully. Beyond that too, will the program still update even though the process is killed? Thanks!
