  1. I am receiving phone calls from NUMEROUS clients that their PC are having "out of Memory errors" and PCs are crashing and/or running very slow!! Looks like a recent Malwarebytes update is the culprit. This is affecting ALL OF MY CLIENTS (including my own computer) that are running Malwarebytes Premium. It ate up all 16GB of my system RAM in seconds crippling my computer. I could not use my machine until I uninstalled Malwarebytes.
  2. I have been a Malwarebytes customer for years and have never seen this happen before on such a large scale. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and the time they need to correct this (hopefully today!). This is certainly making me look bad in front of my clients (since I recommend and install Malwarebytes on ALL my clients computers!).

  4. MALWAREBYTES HAS JUST TAKEN A DUMP!! I am receiving phone calls from NUMEROUS clients that their PC are having "out of Memory errors" and PCs are crashing and/or running very slow!! Looks like a recent Malwarebytes update is the culprit.

  7. Oh! And I have uninstalled and reinstalled MWB using the mbam-clean utility. I also ran the Avast removal utility too when I removed it. (All this is regarding a MWB Pro installation BTW)
  8. I am having the exact same issue on a customer PC. It is a new (about a 1 month old Lenovo laptop) running Win7 x64. I have disabled all start up items in MSCONFIG, ran a full scan in Safe Mode with MWB and Avast and with TDSS KIller and the PC was clean on all counts. I have removed Avast and it still does it. I created a new user account and tested there and it still does it (freezes after a few minutes of just simply sitting there). The PC freezes before anything is logged to the Event Viewer so I cannot see what is causing it to freeze. The 2 mbam services in services.msc are set to delayed start. Anything else I should try? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)
