Just an update. Have performed the following steps: 1) Downloaded the latest version of MalwareBytes 2) Removed the older version 3) Performed Steps 01 and 02 as shared by noknojon 4) The update seems to be working now but given my todate experience, it will be too early to say if the problem has been fixed permanently or temporarily. 5) Will update and post back after watching the update process for a few days Thank you for your support.

I have installed Malwarebytes on my PC running Win 7 home edition and hacing Comodo firewall. This problem just started a few days back. When I try to update the database i get the following error --------------------------- Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware --------------------------- An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware support team. Error code: 732 (12002, 0) --------------------------- I have tried uninstalling Malwaree, running the cleanup utility which I found from somewhere here and have tried to install Malwarebytes but the problem is still unsolved. I have also read through most of the post and the FAQ before posting this request. This is very frustrating and will appreciate a solution.
