  2. Hello Golden: -_-

    1. It is only one time payment (initial purchase) the license is for lifetime (one license is valid for one and only one system) with all Database updates as well as Software version upgrades for strictly home use only
    2. MBAM plays nicely with any AV except for few handful, however the mentioned ones do work properly with proper exclusions
    3. There is a known issue of AVG2011, that is being worked on

You'll be able to save significantly when you purchase three of them in one shot. Following are the exclusion list that you've to add in respective AV for MBAM:

    • Windows 7 64-bit
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\zlib.dll
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.dll
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll
    • C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
    • C:\Windows\SysWoW64\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

    • Windows 7 32-bit
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\zlib.dll
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.dll
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll
    • C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

    • Windows XP 32-bit
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\zlib.dll
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.dll
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll
    • C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

For all of the above mentioned you'll need to exclude MBAM.EXE as well as

    data-cdn.mbamupdates.com

    from firewall

  4. Hello ENEE:

Having more than one installed antivirus will seriously degrade performance and security. Please keep either Avira OR avast and uninstall the other one (very important)

Please also add following exclusions in your installed antivirus for MBAM

    • Windows XP 32-bit
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\zlib.dll
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.dll
    • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll
    • C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

  6. Hello Comprev:

It is far more safer than host. You still have to exercise extreme caution, I have been using Oracle VM VirtualBox since long with 99.99% Internet/Web activity without any problem

I've all the necessary precaution/preventive measures in place. If you would like additional safety please download and install GeSWall 32-bit
