  1. Hi Porthos, Have been waiting for the GSoD to appear again, and it triggered just now. Please find attached the required logs via the Malwarebytes Support Tool as well as the latest dump file. Q1. When the issue occurs, do you have a VPN or any other network filtering software enabled (besides Malwarebytes)? Q2. Does this issue consistently present itself when Web Protection is enabled? Q3. Does the issue occur when you are not using Bittorent, qBittorrent, or any other P2P torrent software? A1. Yes, I run CactusVPN using IKEv2 encryption. Have been using CactusVPN for
  2. Also, I don't use AdGuard, not have I ever, if that helps.
  3. Hi, Just noticed that on Page 1 after initially reporting this, you also requested the minidump as well. I am attaching both for you. Regards, Richard 051620-17937-01.dmp 051620-19062-01.dmp
  4. Hi, I haven't had the BSoD since I first started this thread, however, after updating to Malwarebytes version 4.1.0.56 (Update Packet version 1.0.23942) it has since Green Screened twice within the space of 10 mins. I am running on the Fast Track Windows Insiders build of Windows 10 Build 19628.1 (Version 2004) I have attached the required log files. Would you also like the minidump file as well to check? Both minidumps point to mwac.sys as the culprit. I also noticed in this version, that prior to rebooting the machine after it automatically updated Malwarebytes,
  5. Hi LiquidTension, I was just watching a TV show via VLC (not streaming in VLC, just watching a previously downloaded one) Here is the most recent dump file attached. Note that I have just upgraded to Windows 10 Version 2004, Build 19541.1000 since the issue happened. 010820-17859-01.7z
  6. @Porthos I'm not seeing anything related to ig.exe in my current firewall rules. I'm running Windows Defender Firewall, and haven't ever made any specific changes to this with the exception of letting certain programs though. Those changes though would have been made a while ago now.
  7. Here are the mbst-grab-results as well. Please note that I first ran the Repair part of the Malwarebytes Support Tool accidentally, which reinstalled MBAM and rebooted the machine. I then gathered the results by running the tool again. This may have skewed the logs for you if the repair function removed the previous issue logs. mbst-grab-results.zip
  8. Hi, Just had a BSoD (technically a Green Screen of Death) out of nowhere, with the file mwac.sys being the culprit, so thought I'd report it here so should anyone else get this it can be looked at. I am running Windows 10 Build 2004 (Fast-track insiders build) and the Malwarebytes Premium version 4.0.4.49. Update version 1.0.17453 and Component package version 1.0.793 I have attached the required mb-check file mb-check-results.zip
  9. Hi Porthos, OK, many thanks. Just wanted to check if it was just me, or effecting other MBAM users, and if it was to make them aware. As it effects you, at least I can confirm it's not just me.
  10. As of this morning, I have been trying to get to Amazon.co.uk but keep getting certificate warnings. I have tried both in the latest stable builds of Chrome and Firefox. Here is a screen shot that I am getting using Chrome. Nothing jumps out at me when looking at the page source, except the ASCII 'Meow', at the bottom, which I assume is something one of the coders added. I also have the latest version of Malwarebytes Premium (version 4.0.4), which I have scanned my system with (incl for Root Kits) When I run a nslookup for Amazon.co.uk it comes back with the below IP A
  11. I am also getting this. I am running MBAM v3.2.2.2029. Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Screenshots x2 in case required.
  12. Sorry, unable to edit my post: The stickied thread is: Regards, Richard
  13. Hi, can someone update the main stickied thread for Introducing Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta as the version that is showing as available to download (beta6 - build 0.9.15.416) is the one I have just installed. It then immediately informed me that it was out of date. Could a mod post the latest one there as trying to find the latest version isn't that easy. (well, it isn't hard but new visitors will head for the stickied thread and download the outdated version showing there)
  14. Hi 1PW, No minidumps are available. I did check to see if there were any as WinDbg will normally help me root out any issues using them. However, the only thing I had that pointed to something was in the Event Viewer. Will keep you informed should it happen again. Richard
  15. Updated to beta 3 yesterday as requested. Have been running Malwarebytes anti-malware Pro, anti-ransomware and anti-exploit all day without issues. However, I was just opening up another tab in Chrome when the PC started to glitch out. The mouse was still functioning (as it was when it crashed when I was using beta 2) so checked the Event Viewer to check for any application error. Same as with the beta 2. Here is the Event Viewer error (EventID 1000) attached as well as my Malwarebytes logs and Malwarebytes AR logs Regards, Richard EventID 1000.rar logs.rar Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.r
  16. As the title suggests, the program caused my system to partially crash. I still had mouse movement but all running programs became unresponsive and shutting down normally wasn't possible. Event Viewer report:Faulting application name: MBAMService.exe, version: 3.0.0.510, time stamp: 0x568c6b92Faulting module name: MBAMService.exe, version: 3.0.0.510, time stamp: 0x568c6b92Exception code: 0x40000015Fault offset: 0x0000000000166536Faulting process id: 0x788Faulting application start time: 0x01d15c7ccab870ddFaulting application path: C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Ransomware\MBAMService.exeFa
  17. Please find attached the requested files..... Also, I was unable to edit the original post? Is this due to a low post count? Regards, Richard logs.rar Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.rar
  18. I was getting this error after installing a fresh install of Windows 10 Home edition x64 on a brand new HP Pavillion all-in-one desktop. I read the comments other people had stated and Nathan's reply regarding testing to see if it worked in Safe Mode with Networking. I tested this and it still gave me the error: I then rebooted into Normal mode and the program started fine. I did check that the Windows Firewall wasn't to blame, but am unable to figure out what caused it though. Just posting this as it may help someone else out. If you need logs, let me know. Could insert images
  19. Hi, I am running Malwarebytes Pro (up to date) and when ever I start up my Bitcoin-qt desktop wallet (Windows x64 and latest version of wallet) Malwarebytes Pro will block an Inbound request from 93.115.92.240. When I run a Whois on that address it comes up with a company called Voxility.com. If I attempt to Google for Voxility (only the name Voxility, and not Voxility.com) it will block an Outgoing request for that site. (as shown in attached image) Is this site a known bad actor, and why would my Bitcoin-qt wallet be a target. (apart from the obvious) Are they specifically known for t
  20. Hi, Yep, I still have ,MBAE installed. Didn't uninstall it as I like to extra protection it affords.
  21. Hi pbust, Very sorry for the late reply. I had MBAM Pro installed and running for approx 1 year before I noticed the Netflix Silverlight issue. I haven't noticed the issue again since, although I did uninstall Silverlight>Reboot>Start Netflix again and the issue has yet to occur.
  22. Unable to edit my post, but I should add that I am using the latest stable build of Chrome.
  23. Hi, I am using the latest version of Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (free version 1.04.1.1012) and it is blocking Netflix for me. It causes the Silverlight plug-In to crash. If I refresh, then Netflix (inc Silverlight) will play nicely again, but this is intermittent.
  24. Hi Cecile, Yep I got the link via Cleverbridge. I have been using the free version for years, but was just wondering why when buying the Pro version we had to wait. It's not a biggie, just a inquiry. Regards, Richard
