  3. It came from this url hxxp://dwcmarketing.co_dot_za/w/answers.html

    Mbam pro

Hey guys/ gals, i did a factory restore and put in my paid Mbam id an key, but, it says invalid. how do i get my paid mbam back ?
  11. Hello all, I am interested in learning how to become a member of that so i can help out users with issues in that area, how do i get involved in that ?
  12. Thank you for your quick response. Reason for my asking is that i had assisted on a post by a user that had infected system restore pts and thus was unable to use one to get at a point before the issue arose requiring the use of the system restore, and i had mentioned that MSE would scan those shadow files but, turned out i was wrong and i had to edit my post. I wish i had known that mbam would scan those files last nite as i would have most certainly posted that bit of info. Thanks again for your answer.
  13. ShyWriter, thanks for that informative post, i have been reading some informative articles in a magazine called Maximum PC, only problem is all the ads on the pages.. even with adblockplus on my FF browser.. But, not withstanding , very informative.. I am using no script add- on also.
  14. Hello All , I am just wondering if mbam is able to scan the hidden files of system restore for viruses ?
  15. Yeah.. my guess is Yahoo Answer does not care much about the external IP addy getting in wrong hands..as most yahoo answer users are not important enough of a target to hack.. but.. was just curious.. Thanks Buttons and ShyWriter for your chat about this..
  16. This one yahoo user said some trolls were getting the IP from yahoo emails sent.. now, my thinking as most of you guys is that the external IP address seen in email header details really is not an issue .. My real question concerning this.. cause i have no idea what a hacker can do , is even if a hacker got the external email addy. which goes to your ISP location. or should say , is assigned to it.. Is all a hacker gonna know is where the ISP is located or can they get into stuff ?
  17. Ip that gets seen in the email header details is the external ip . if that helps anyone on what can a black hat do with that.. .. I am not seeing any issues myself.. just wondering about unprotected peeps with no security and a Black Hat were to get that external IP addy ...
  18. My bad.. Ip visible on email sent through yahoo answers... not worried what Yahoo Answers Team see.. The email being sent is my concern.. sorry for forgetting that in OP .
  19. It has come to my attention as of late that even if sent through yahoo answers. your IP will show up in details of header. and i was wondering, even with security on router and computer, What would a black hat possibly do if he/she had that IP ? Any thoughts about this , and if a bad guy could do something.. what additional security should one use/ do ? Thanks for any thoughts.. Lil Bit 96
  20. I suggest another thread be created by OP and lets go from there, as original question has been resolved, Thanks for using this free forum.
