Same here. After a reboot ram-consumption of mbamservice.exe has leveled at 75.880k. I think the relationship is now fit again. tevion

Hi, since last update to v.1.42 (purchased version) mbamservice.exe uses now 485 mb under windows 7 32 bit permanently !! Hope there will be an explanation for this explosion soon. Tevion

I`ve reinstalled MBAM now but without activating realtime module Using MBAM for a short while only i can`t say too much about it. But it must be good because it was a recommendation from the AVAST forum. That was the reason why i buying it. Before i`ve used AdAware ... oh be aware of ... 27 bucks for plus version 2007 ... better you play in a casino.

MBAM messed up my system completely !! After activating realtime protection module froze the notebook with no ability doing something. Uninstalling in secure mode after a hot restart was the only chance getting control back over my laptop. Whats up with MBAM ???

Same here ...MBAM messed up my system with last definition file. Avast Pro boot time scan found nothing !! MBAM realtime protection says all Avast system files are infected by vundo !! A heavy fp i believe ... . Switching of MBAM realtime protection was the last solution .... Tevion

On my machine with Vista Home Premium 32 bit mbamservice needs 13856 k private bytes. Mbamgui.exe needs 2852 k private bytes. Very low power consumption i think.
