  1. I use Malware Bytes religiously, but we have symantec installed on our computer also. Symantec kept telling me i had a backdoor.tidserv virus and that it was quarantined, but not removed. After researching the "symptoms" of backdoor.tidserv, I realized I do in fact have this virus (i.e. fake pop ups, search engine redirection problems...). When I tried to run Malware Bytes for it, it's not picking it up that im infected with it. I've updated over and over again, scanned probably around 15 times in the past week or so, even tried running it in safe mode, but it keeps telling me there aren't any infected items. Symantec is STILL telling me it's there and I am STILL having the problems that are associated with it. I keep getting smaller rogue viruses, too, and I think the backdoor.tidserv is opening me up to those viruses. Malware Bytes is finding those viruses, but still not finding backdoor.tidserv. Any suggestions?
