  1. Is tpepmcu.sys, a file located in the C:/Windows/System32/drivers folder a real problem or is it just a false positive? I recently had the vundo virus on my computer and it did take FOREVER to remove but malwarebytes finally got all of it gone! I can now run all my windows programs and even Windows Defender. The virus got so bad I couldn't open anything from the security center or even turn it on. When I try to reboot my system to have malwarebytes take it away it restarts window explorer and will not delete. Is this an important .sys file or the root cause of the whole vundo virus. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!
  2. I recently had the vundo virus on my computer. Malwarebytes is the ONLY thing that got rid of it! Now I can run windows and windows defender. The only problem is I keep getting a infection of the file : tpepmcu.sys It is in the Windows/System32/drivers folder. When I reboot my computer and Malwarebytes tries to delete it, it makes windows explorer stop working and then it will just restart it and not delete it. Is this part of the virus? Also it says it is a "root kit".
