Also, I don't seem to have that buggy Windows update on my system.

    Every system is different.

Please do the following so that we may take a closer look at what might be going on with your Malwarebytes installation and hopefully find a resolution to the problem:

    1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
    2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
    3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

    Thanks

Windows is detecting the attached file as a Trojan:VBS/Encascurl.

The file (correct name is borders.js) is downloaded by Internet Explorer 11 and store in <user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE\5AO5ZD6O

Malwarebytes doesn´t detect it as a threat.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware ( MBAM ) does not target scripted malware files via signatures (file scanner).  That means MBAM's File scanner will not target; JS, JSE,  PS1, PY, .HTML, HTA, VBS, VBE, WSF, .CLASS, SWF, SQL, BAT, CMD, PDF, PHP, etc.

The exploit protection in the paid version would stop this if executed.

As soon as i put my lic key into the beta is when it crashes it locks up my system if im logged in as user, but if i log in as a administrator it doesnt lock up

You have to use an administrator account to install and configure MB.

Just purchased second device license so I could install on my iphone.  Main protection is currently on my desktop windows 10 program.  Don't have a clue how to add my i'hone to use up my second device purchase.  Thx  Steve

Q: I purchased a license to cover my computers. Can I also use this license on iOS?

A: No. Unfortunately, Apple will not allow purchase of our app outside the App Store. The licenses purchased from our website can only be used on Mac, Windows and Android devices. For more information, see:

but I feel these are both good programs.

I also think that Emisoft is a good product as well just don't use it.

I just do not like 3rd party AV's in general. Seen them complicate Windows feature upgrades. MB alone has ever interfered with a Feature update in my experience EXCEPT turning off Defender(easy fix)

It's paid, but I got in on that lifetime license deal and they are honoring it. Yes, I definitely want to keep Emsisoft. According to the guy who worked on my computer and removed mbam, Emsisoft is the only way to go. According to you, mbam is the only way to go. I have loved and trusted both programs so I guess I'll just stick to what I was doing before he took liberties and removed one of them without my knowledge.

Every tech has their opinions and much of that is a combo of experience (my stance with MB/Defender) with  a product or a product they make money from.

With today's economy, money is tight. and also there is not as many Windows computers being used at home because of phones and tablets. I say this because I watched it happen and had to close a retail repair shop because of it.

Not every one has a lifetime MB and after spending $$ on fixing the computer it is hard to sell MB at $40 a year on top of the money they spent on repairing or replacing the computer much less an AV other than Defender..

No it was working fine Until my brother tried to install Pirated version of malwerbyte

    That makes a difference.

If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply:

I'd had Malwarebytes and Emsisoft running together for a long time with no problems.

Do not worry about defender (Emisoft should have disabled it), Worry about excluding the files in Emisoft. I don't/wont use anything except defender with MB. Paying for both to me is a waste of money.
