  1. Please download and run the installer over what you have. https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb-windows

  5. I do not believe that would serve as an actual router. I currently have this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079JD7F7G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Do not know if it is available where you are.
  6. @Dizztah Most of the time this is seen when you are connected directly to your ISP modem. Is this the case for you?
  7. We are Malwarebytes, not MaxSecure. You need to contact them.
  8. @Dizztah The blocks are on addresses that are attempting to do a forced attempt to exploit remote-desktop-protocol. The Real Time Protection of Malwarebytes for Windows is actively doing it's job to protect the system. In most cases the attempted probes will automatically stop on their own. If it continues you can add the IP to the local firewall to prevent it from contacting the computer period. If you wish to do so, here is one how-to guide https://www.interserver.net/tips/kb/add-ip-address-windows-firewall/
  9. Your other topic was ok and you did not need this topic. @Storj_Dom
  10. Don't make a new topic, you will be assisted here
  11. While you are waiting for the next qualified/approved malware removal expert helper to weigh in on your topic, and even though you may have run the following Malwarebytes utility or its subsets, please carefully follow these instructions: Restart the computer. Then do the following after restart. WARNING: Do Not click the Repair System under Advanced unless requested by a Malwarebytes support agent or authorized helper Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool. In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file. In the User Account Control (UAC) pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation. Run the MBST Support Tool. In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced. In the Advanced Options, click only Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your computer. A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to the Public desktop, please attach that file in your next reply to this topic. Please do NOT copy and paste. For the short time between when you post the diagnostic logs, and when your helper weighs in, please take no further self-directed remedial actions that will invalidate the diagnostic logs you will have sent. Thank you.
  12. You have to contact each of the vendors listing your site. Malwarebytes has no control over those other vendors. Malwarebytes also does not report web blocks to them as well. The block from Malwarebytes is gone.
  13. Yes, it turns on Defender so it can run alongside Malwarebytes. Having it on disables Defender like any other 3rd party AV would.
  14. I ALWAYS recommend it and I have all my clients as well as myself as well. Now for my speech about it.
  15. I have sent a message to the proper staff member to see if it was pulled again. You are still protected with the version you have.
  16. The release notes topic had a typo. Did you restart the computer yet?
  17. Yes, You just made a typo. Yes My system says it is currently running 4.5.34.275. Is that the most updated version? Yes it is.
  18. Actually 257. See how typos happen. Try restarting the computer then try.
  19. I do suggest 2 things. I suggest turning off fast startup in Windows. Then restart. https://www.elevenforum.com/t/turn-on-or-off-fast-startup-in-windows-11.1212/ Also, turn off the following setting to better protect the computer. Also, Firefox is out of date as well. Mozilla Firefox 113.0 Current 116.02

Here it is. I've been having a problem for a few weeks now, I think with some kind of virus. I noticed that the computer itself takes permissions for system files, I installed 3 types of antivirus, but none of them recognize it. I've booted the system several times but every time the same thing happens, when I follow the event viewer I see a bunch of weird stuff and the permissions are being taken again. What I noticed is that the BIOS version was changed, more precisely the release date is not the same as the original, and I did not change it. The laptop is a Lenovo Legion 7 with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, a few months old. Can you help me, because the service does not do repairs. Thank you _
  21. Seems to be a typo @H4V0C I just updated a client's computer with no issue.
