  1. Restart the computer and get the proper log. We need to get information from this machine in order to have the proper detail to help you forward. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file Double-click mb-support xxx.xx.exe to run the report You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next You will be presented with a page stating, "Get Started!" Do NOT use the button “Start repair” ! Click the Advanced tab on the left column Click the Gather Logs button A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed with getting logs from your computer Upon completion, click a file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop. Click OK Please attach the ZIP file in your next reply
  2. I suggest you temporarily UNINSTALL Avast free and restart your computer. Then restart a second time and then try to activate Malwarebytes. If that does not work leave Avast uninstalled and get us a new set of logs.
  3. The advice you quoted is you answer as well.
  4. Is your dongle working. You are up to date now on Malwarebytes.
  5. Post a new log showing the detection.

  7. It does not ask for a restart that is part of the problem. When the installer gets fixed, The issue will be fixed as well.
  8. Some complain about the scan at wake/boot slowing things down, That is why I mentioned it.
  9. The final post with the schedule shows it was still at 2 am with scan at next opportunity enabled. Just wanted to reinforce the fact that Malwarebytes will not wake the computer to run a scan.
  10. Is the computer awake at 2 am. If not the way you have it set it will run the scan right after you wake it up in the morning.
  11. As of right now there is no beta. Component package 1003 is current release.
  12. You can just exit Malwarebytes from the system tray.
