  2. Today I installed the lasted version of Mplayer. As a precaution, I always scan any file with my antivirus (which is avast) to make certain the file is safe. After completing the installation, I decided to a full scan with malwarebytes pro to make certain. To my surprise..2 files were listed as infected, A copy of the log below. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.51.0.600 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: 6684 Windows 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 5/27/2011 1:20:20 AM mbam-log-2011-05-27 (01-20-17).txt Scan type: Full scan (C:\|) Objects scanned: 295477 Time elapsed: 22 minute(s), 30 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 2 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: c:\program files\mplayer for windows\codecs\lhacm2.acm (Malware.Packer.Gen) -> No action taken. c:\program files\mplayer for windows\codecs\msvidc32.dll (Trojan.FakeMS) -> No action taken. I did a search and found a older, but similar topic on Mplayer, but the files that were infected were different. In the end it seemed those were false positives. I need to know if these files are a real danger or just false positives?
