  1. I'm a registered (paying) user of MalwareBytes and find it very effective and dependable. I schedulted daily automatic scan and also update. The scan works fine, but my computer won't allow automatic updates. I suppose this is something in the security system. All other updates, including Microsoft, Java, Adobe, RealPlayer, etc., all are what I term "inbound" updates, i.e. they come to my computer from outside. MalwareBytes appears to be the only software that is updated via an "outbound" method. I've contacted and received suggestions from tech support, but so far none has solved the problem. I feel that shutting off my security to allow my computer to "phone home" is too great a risk. Can anyone advise why MalwareBytes does not update "inbound" the same way that Norton, Avast and some of the other security systems do? This would seem to solve the problem. All suggestions welcome. Thanks, Rob in Arizona
