  1. Thanks, exile. Could I run the clean utility from a flash drive?
  2. Bump. I know this is probably an insignificant question for more knowledgeable people out there, but it's important to me since I really don't know (noob) and would really appreciate an answer. I see that I can scan any drive from the installed program on the HD, but I still want to know if I can install the program (MBAM) from a jump drive. Thank you.
  3. Can I run the mbam clean program from a jump drive to clean mbam from my hard drive? Can I run the install program from a jump drive to install mbam on my hard drive? Or, do these two programs need to be on the hard drive? Am I correct that mbam cannot be installed and run on a jump drive?
  4. Well, after an uninstall and reinstall and the latest data base, no problem. ??
  5. Nope, I guess not. Just ran a scan on my other computer and had the same thing. Must be a FP? I don't know what's going on.
  6. Problem solved, maybe. I restarted the system and ran another quick scan and it showed nothing! The quick scan took longer than the previous ones. So, a restart is in order after updating to 1.34? Mybe I should have uninstalled 1.33 and installed 1.34? I'm using Win XP Home SP3.
  7. And, it doesn't show up if I just scan the file by itself in windows explorer, only on a quick scan. I haven't tried a full scan,
  8. Well, you're right. Under properties it says encarta, but I don't have Encarta, what gives? should I just quarantine it for a while and see how it goes or delete? Strange it was created right around the time I scanned with 1.34.
  9. Also, I had just scanned with 1.33 a couple of hours prior and it showed nothing.
  10. It can't be Encarta and "I'm not permitted to upload."
  11. Just ran a scan with version 1.34 and it found c:\windows\system32\ENCAPI32.dll. What is it? I quarantined it, but should I remove it? thanks.
  12. Same here using Opera, I don't use IE. It works on the malwarebytes site, but not on the securitywonks site.
