  1. I agree, portable applications are nice to have but either way Malwarebytes is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
  2. Alright, here's a HJT Log. Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 3:30:11 PM, on 11/10/2008 Platform: Windows Vista SP1 (WinNT 6.00.1905) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6001.18000) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\Windows\System32\smss.exe C:\Windows\system32\csrss.exe C:\Windows\system32\wininit.exe C:\Windows\system32\csrss.exe C:\Windows\system32\services.exe C:\Windows\system32\lsass.exe C:\Windows\system32\lsm.exe C:\Windows\system32\winlogon.exe C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe C:\Windows\System32\
  3. I got the Blue Screen of Death and used system restore and I was fine (I don't think it was malware related as I had just installed a Windows Update). Anyways, I ran a scan with MBAM and this is what I got: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.30 Database version: 1379 Windows 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 11/10/2008 7:06:52 AM mbam-log-2008-11-10 (07-06-52).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 48650 Time elapsed: 5 minute(s), 28 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 1 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Fi
  4. Spyware Doctor didn't find anything. What do you mean be version 10? On http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp when I click verify Java Version, it says: "You have the recommended Java installed (Version 6 Update 7)."
  5. Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 6:26:50 PM, on 10/16/2008 Platform: Windows Vista (WinNT 6.00.1904) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16757) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\Windows\System32\smss.exe C:\Windows\system32\csrss.exe C:\Windows\system32\wininit.exe C:\Windows\system32\csrss.exe C:\Windows\system32\services.exe C:\Windows\system32\lsass.exe C:\Windows\system32\lsm.exe C:\Windows\system32\winlogon.exe C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe C:\Windows\system3
  6. Alright, I uninstalled Java, deleted the file and re-installed. I ran chkdsk on restart, and it ran for a few minutes, and then it finished and restarted my computer. I also ran CCleaner and did a Panda ActiveScan. At the End it said: "Congratulations! Today you are not infected. We have detected that the Windows Defender protection on your PC is disabled and up-to-date"
  7. Spyware Doctor found 12 Registry infections of Backdoor.Agent.LEL, and before removing anything, I scanned with Malwarebytes, but it found nothing. After I started my Panda ActiveScan, my Internet Explorer became unresponsive, so I manually ended the process, but when I opened a new IE, it just stalled on a blank page, and my Y! Toolbar didn't load, so I restarted my computer. I also scanned with Spybot, but all it found is a cookie. Here are my logs. Malwarebytes: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.28 Database version: 1272 Windows 6.0.6000 10/15/2008 6:23:45 AM mbam-log-2008-10-15 (06-23-45).txt
  8. Yep. I reset this one to factory settings a month ago. Both have never had any compatability problems.
  9. PC Tools is incompatable with McAfee? I've never had a problem, and I've had both installed for 2 yrs+
  10. My computer had crashed a few times, and I'm hoping it's not Malware related. Malware Bytes: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.28 Database version: 1228 Windows 6.0.6000 10/4/2008 12:52:36 PM mbam-log-2008-10-04 (12-52-36).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 47625 Time elapsed: 1 minute(s), 46 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected)
  11. Downloaded the Newest Adobe Reader (Version 9) and Got Java 6.7. Thanks =D
  12. I went to an XP AntiVirus site, and McAfee said "Trojan Successfully Removed" I just want to be sure nothing survived. I've run a McAfee Scan, SpyBot Scan, and MalwareBytes Scan and all found nothing. Here are my Logs: Malwarebytes: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.25 Database version: 1089 Windows 6.0.6000 11:36:43 AM 8/27/2008 mbam-log-08-27-2008 (11-36-43).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 42689 Time elapsed: 2 minute(s), 26 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders In
