  1. Thanks. It's sorted. Used suggestions in another thread which allowed me to open AVG (using Fixexe) and stop the firewall. mbam updated and running now. Hopefully will get rid of this bloody virus.
  2. Hi, I have the same problem. At first I couldn't install mbam but I used an external flash drive to install it and it is working fne. However, it will not update and I am getting the error message 732 (12029, 0). I went into IE and changed the connection settings to 'automatically detect settings' and this made no real difference except that now it was at least attempting to access the server first. Still no joy, ready to tear my hair out. I usually use adaware and AVG pro but both of these are not working at all now. Thanks, Gearod
