    I have a friend's computer with Personal Antivirus on it, and MBAM won't open on thiers either. AVG found somethings and removed it, but some threads it didn't clean or remove. SuperAnti wouldn't run accept from the "alternate start" shortcut. Spybot also won't open. I have not tried HijackThis. I think I'll just follow along this thread. I'm sure whatever they suggest for you will work for me
