  1. Good Afternoon,

I am curious as to what standards the folks at Malwarebytes apply to shops/stores who apply to be resellers of their product. We have applied twice and never received any response. We have inquired via email and received an initial email saying we had been declined and follow up requests for a reason why were not answered. Well over 70% of our business is malware removal and we would offer it is an option to every customer we deal with.

If anyone has any insight I sure would appreciate it.

    Thanks!

    Eric

  2. I have been doing a scan on a customers machine and MBAM keeps reporting a Trojan.Vundo.H infection, claims the infection is removed and upon an immediate rescan the same reg entries are back. Did a bit of research (regmon.exe) and determined that as soon as MBAM (or any registry/startup editor) removed the "infected" keys the spoolsv.exe process simply readded them.

I have downloaded and ran two separate Vundo removal tools and neither of them report any infected registry keys/files.

Finally I ran the MS SFC to ensure that none of the system files (spoolsv.exe) had been corrupted.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers!

  3. Less than one minute into a MBAM scan I am presented with this error.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the

    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware support team.

    Error code: 731 (0,9)

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The error keeps repeating and I have to end the process to get MBAM to close. Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers!

  4. Good Afternoon,

Love MBAM. I am, however, having an issue with a laptop that has some really nasty infections. The system will not allow MBAM (or Spybot for that matter) to install. When you click the exe to install it simply does nothing. Additionally it will not allow you to load the Malwarebytes webpage. Other exe files run fine and other web pages display fine. Any suggestions on where I should start the search (in Windows) to resolve this would be appreciated.

    Cheers!

    Eric
