  1. Good Afternoon, I am curious as to what standards the folks at Malwarebytes apply to shops/stores who apply to be resellers of their product. We have applied twice and never received any response. We have inquired via email and received an initial email saying we had been declined and follow up requests for a reason why were not answered. Well over 70% of our business is malware removal and we would offer it is an option to every customer we deal with. If anyone has any insight I sure would appreciate it. Thanks! Eric
  2. I have been trying to remove malware from my computer. I have used MBAM and it scans clean now. I have rebooted and almost everytime I get online with any browser I get redirected to http://thiswebsiteisblocked.com/block.php. I have checked the proxy settings and hosts file and everything appears to be in order. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! Eric
  3. I have been doing a scan on a customers machine and MBAM keeps reporting a Trojan.Vundo.H infection, claims the infection is removed and upon an immediate rescan the same reg entries are back. Did a bit of research (regmon.exe) and determined that as soon as MBAM (or any registry/startup editor) removed the "infected" keys the spoolsv.exe process simply readded them. I have downloaded and ran two separate Vundo removal tools and neither of them report any infected registry keys/files. Finally I ran the MS SFC to ensure that none of the system files (spoolsv.exe) had been corrupted. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers! 4. Less than one minute into a MBAM scan I am presented with this error. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware support team. Error code: 731 (0,9) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The error keeps repeating and I have to end the process to get MBAM to close. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers! Eric
  5. Unfortunately no. I will make a point to note it the next time.
  6. It happens after the scan while it is removing the problems. I noted that it was happening every time it tried to quarantine the same file. I manually deleted the file before the next scan and that solved the problem. The file was a .log file generated by one of the Rouge spyware apps. Cheers!
  7. Good Morning, I am using MBAM to try and disinfect a computer and keep getting the error Run-time error "7": Out of memory (in normal and safe mode). The computer is running Windows XP Home with 256MB of RAM. Any suggestions on where to check? Thanks!
  8. Renaming the file worked!!! Thanks a million! Cheers! Eric
  9. Had not considered that one. Will try that now. Back with more in a bit. Thanks! Eric
  10. Good Afternoon, Love MBAM. I am, however, having an issue with a laptop that has some really nasty infections. The system will not allow MBAM (or Spybot for that matter) to install. When you click the exe to install it simply does nothing. Additionally it will not allow you to load the Malwarebytes webpage. Other exe files run fine and other web pages display fine. Any suggestions on where I should start the search (in Windows) to resolve this would be appreciated. Cheers! Eric
