Rather than having a 2FA authorization code sent to email, where it can be buried amidst many, many other emails, I suggest that you add the ability to send the code to a registered cell phone. Of course, this would also suggest that you have a spot for a true user profile where such a mobile number could be entered and registered.

Nor would you have to use a smart phone. I proposed this as a useful option, as most people now do have smart phones. I note that some people even foreswear email!
