  1. Yes, that seems to have worked. Thank you so much. I think it was the last step that fixed it. "Force Reset Google Chrome"
  2. Only on chrome, no other browser is affected.
  3. Here are the logs, thank you for your help so far cureit.log Fixlog.txt
  4. Thank you, I've followed the steps as you said. AdwCleaner[S04].txt Malwarebytes Scan Report 2024-08-03 013910.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  5. I accidentally clicked on the wrong download button for a programme the other day, didn't complete the installation, but my google chrome is still suffering this very annoying yahoo redirect. I've reset/re-installed chrome multiple times with no improvement. Ran Malwarebytes full scan which detected 9 issues which I've removed. Tried reinstalling Chrome again, resetting sync settings, tried not logging in, removed every extension, but I still can't get rid of it. Only happens in chrome, Opera and Bing aren't affected. I've also ran multiple more scans with Malwarebytes, Roguekiller, Kaspersky which have all come up clean. Any ideas?
