  1. Another question to MBAM: How many users do you have worldwide right now?
  2. If you have update problems with Avira you can use AVG Free instead
  3. I'm using F-Secure Blacklight now, nice tool which is easy to use
  4. Nice article Place 15 at the download charts is also very nice, gratulations!
  5. I also read about this behaviour in the avira forum
  6. I read that Spybot - S&D has a 10 times larger fingerprint-database than MBAM. Nonsense?
  7. Free anti-virus with resident protection: AVG, Avira, Avast
  8. I see, there are many reasons. I hope MBAM is not getting too aggressive ...

Thank you. I really like malwarebytes anti-malware, but i can't understand why this software has so many false positives. If you look at the competition there are about 3-5 false positives / month. Malwarebytes anti-malware has 1 false positive / day! Why?

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.27 Database version: 1130 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 08.09.2008 18:33:42 mbam-log-2008-09-08 (18-33-40).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 42137 Time elapsed: 3 minute(s), 1 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 1 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\scrfile\shell\open\command\ (Broken.OpenCommand) -> Bad: ("%1" %*) Good: ("%1" /S) -> No action taken. 15. I see, thank you for that information
  16. In the past i also had about 10 security programs on my computer, but nowadays i reduced them. Antivirus: I would recommend AVG 8.0 Free (Ewido included) or Avira Free (sometimes update problems). Antispyware: I would recommend MBAM and Spybot. Some users like Superantispyware but i don't like the GUI - it looks like a rogue
  17. In the past we also read about empty folders which are flagged as malware. Do you know if other security software also work like this? Why not just detect the infected files?
  18. The new header logo looks great, i love it
  19. May i add a question? If i look at spybot or superantispyware forum there are about 5 fp a month, at mbam there are about 15 fp a month! Do other anti-spyware users not report the fp or has mbam much more fp?
  20. Thank you, this is what i am looking for Do you have such a tool on your machine?
  21. Hello, I am searching for a good (and free) behavior blocker. I read about threatfire but it slows down my computer Norton antibot is no freeware ... Which tool would you recommend me?
  22. Cookies are not dangerous IMO. May i ask you about your security configuration?
