  1. Done. thank you. just in case ran another defender and mwb scan and seems to have found nothing
  2. Seems good so far but I'll keep an eye out for more detections. Last time this happened it seemed that Defender would catch a new malware every couple of days
  3. ok so the eset scan finally finished. I've attached both logs Fixlog.txt scanlog.txt
  4. Hi, thank you again for your help. One question - I ran frst with "Scheduled Tasks" unchecked the 1st time since in the tutorial thread that was not an option on there. For this fix do I uncheck that as well? Thank you
  5. Hello, I need help. First got mention of malware a few days ago, and after running a full scan, more comes up. Don't see any alarming symptoms yet but would like some help. I've attached the files from FRST. Thank you Addition.txt FRST.txt
  6. the computer is doing fine, but it was fine before (in terms of symptoms). I just got scared because windows defender kept finding malware. am I clear now?
  7. Just glanced at the cureit log when it was open in notepad - looks like it says "OPTION [Automatic Apply Actions] NO" but I did make sure to have that checked before the scan (I even just looked at it now - when i clicked the wrench, it was checked). Not sure if I'm looking at the wrong thing though or it doesn't matter. Just thought I would let you know
  8. thank you for the time and help! I've attached both logs below cureit.log Fixlog.txt
  9. Hi, so since the end of May, defender has blocked/quarantined 2 different trojans - both were blocked at first then detected again and quarantined soon after. However, I ran MWB and other scans but they have not found anything. I have noticed after I downloaded Windows 11 around April that my computer has been freezing at times (usually when a video plays). Not sure if that relates. Other than that, I don't notice anything strange. Anyway, I've attached the files from FRST and would just like to know if any further action is needed. Thank you Addition.txt FRST.txt
