The clean install went smoothly. Whew. Now I’m busy reinstalling software.

I appreciate you sticking with me thru all this. 
 

I absolutely do want to fix all my issues. I am just wondering if a clean install might be better in the long run. 
 

Not being able to print is the most annoying problem. I can print on my laptop and cell phone.  
 

My desktop PC is hard wired with an Ethernet cable running to modem. 
 

My printer is an Epson EC 2800.  The only thing it has physically connected is the power cable.  The model number is C634G. 
 

My first choice would be to connect it to my PC without using a USB and keeping my PC connected by Ethernet to modem. .

Sorry I'm getting lost in all the tools I'm running today for printer issues. I don't know why docs, Sheets, Slides are there. And I especially don't know why shortcuts on the desktop that were created with Chromes setting 'save and share' are in this list.

Under the start menu there is a listing for Chrome apps NEW. It's location is AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/StartMenu/Programs

I can delete this folder and it will get recreated as I visit websites. There is also a list of sites visited in the Control Panel uninstall program list

I have no idea why Chrome does this.

I did a force reset of google chrome from that page. 

The printer works in my laptop and cell phone. It used to work on the desktop.

Even if I save a file to the desktop it doesn't work.

In the printers and scanners section it shows the printer Not connected.

The pier1 block my malwarebytes is no longer popping up, so at least I got rid of that. 

I'd really like the printer to work. I don't think that's a chrome issue.

Ok a late night instead. I read thru those links.

I removed most extensions from chrome except ABP and Malwarebytes Browser Ext.

I also trimmed by search engines to google and default duckduckgo.

I also used the directions from one link to force a reset of Chrome. 

Now I wait?

I do have several extensions installed in chrome.  I also have the beta version running on the system.

I've already used this tool to uninstall Eset.  Did you see remnants of it still?

Do I need Bonjour for anything?

Are you meaning a browser extension?
