Hello, thank you for your help and for waiting. I've uninstalled the cheap anti-malware service but I get an error when trying to uninstall BBWC. I've attatched a screenshot of the error as well as the other message that pops up after hitting Ok.

I signed up for a free trial of Malwarebytes premium and it got rid of a bunch of (harmful) stuff on my pc, but my google start page still hasn't been fixed. The tab will always be called "chrome://newtab" as opposed to "New Tab" and is very blank in comparison to the standard start page. Most browser hijackers that I've seen will replace the name of the browser with something else (like replacing where "Google" is usually displayed with "Yahoo") as well as cause unwanted popups. That's not the case with mine though. Is this a clever browser hijacker or something else? Why wasn't a premium deep scan able to fix it? Is there anything else I can do?
