Browser guard setting keeps reverting

I'm using Browser Guard for Firefox. On one particular domain (nytimes.com), the toggle for blocking ads keeps turning off. That is, if I set it to block ads, the page refreshes as usual, but then if I go back to the Browser Guard settings the toggle is off again. Is there any reason it would keep reverting to Off?
