Yesterday, Malwarebytes started blocking Google AdMob, a legitimate and largely used mobile advertising platform. On Firefox, it didn't even show the page saying it was blocked, so I tried it on Microsoft Edge and sure enough, it was blocked "because it may contain malicious activity."

Ah, it was. Thanks, but I'm still not sure if that's the actual cause of this. I turned it off and pressed the "Check for Updates" button (since I figured it would downgrade to the latest stable release) but it still does not work.

Not sure. I don't remember installing a beta. I just went on my computer and it warned me that Exploit Protection wasn't turned on. I don't think I turned it off either.

I keep getting notified about Exploit Protection not being turned on, but when I click on the switch to turn it on, it doesn't work. Pressing "Turn On" through Trusted Advisor also does not work, and it just gets stuck on "Pending."

A script I made in python won't run because of this. I tried reinstalling Python, but pip wasn't installed, so I did python -m ensurepip, and it blocked that as well. What's happening??
