That's true but needing to add every game executable manually can be a lot of manual labor when there's a lot of games to add, whereas game mode detection could be automatic and it already works quite well in detecting games.

It would be great if Malwarebytes detected when Windows is in Game Mode or has a full screen app open, and pauses notifications/scans until Windows is out of those two conditions. I've frequently had notification popups while gaming or watching movies in full screen.
