Firefox Excessive Memory and CPU Consumption

I had the same issue. I went to Manage Extensions and removed MalwareBytes' extension for Firefox. I did not have to restart Firefox, I just merely went back to Manage Extensions and searched for MalwareBytes and added it back in anew. Firefox and MalwareBytes are now behaving very well together, again 😍
