After having my PC's performance suddenly drop I tried to run Malwarebytes, only it wasn't there and I could swear I'd installed it. So I went to install it again and whenever I tried to download the installer it would be 0 bytes and I would get a message telling me I cannot run this program on my computer. I double checked and made sure that I was in fact downloading the Windows version but the problem still persisted so I gathered the logs like your guides say.
