  1. Put it a different way.. its not going to be a risk to anyone that has a proper password. Any its of little use to download. Better off with rainbow tables.
  2. It would be if it wasn't actually 150Gb of just nothing. Just look at the technical report. There is a tiny amount of stuff in the file buts its essentially nothing.
  3. @Clang - I work on these issues daily. You need to setup their routers DNS to point to NextDNS (make sure it maintains its IP link) - Then use their scamware/malware/ai/ads/etc block lists. Once you have done this - you will block 95% of the bad links. NextDNS link - https://nextdns.io/?from=b7smdsyp You will need to pay their $2 per month fee but its totally worth it. Also on mobile specific you can install the NextDNS app that will send all DNS requests to NextDNS.
  4. https://www.malwarebytes.com/blog/news/2024/07/rockyou2024-nearly-10-billion-passwords-leaked-online So Malwarebytes issued a NEWS bulletin about the RockYou2024 with 10 billion passwords but its quite literally FAKE NEWS! I trust MWB to give me quality news. They need to check their sources and to test out claims like this. None of this was done. I downloaded the file and it was basically just filled with garbage. At first I thought it was corrupted and then after some further investigation I discovered my copy was perfect. It was 95% just junk. Then I found this technical analysis. https://specopssoft.com/blog/rockyou2024-analysis-password-leak/ The moral of the story is the MWB didn't investigate this AT ALL and just hyped fake news. They should issue a retraction statement.
  5. I have been calling Malwarebytes Business sales for around a year now. So about once a month I will call multiple times that day, press 3 for business sales... hold and nobody ever answers. I have submitted a business contact request on the website for 3000+ enterprise service and only once did someone respond but they didn't attend the arranged online meeting. So I have tried and tried and tried but it seems like nobody actually works in sales. I see the career CV requirements for a sales job but quite honestly it looks like qualifications mean nothing. Is there ANYONE who actually works in TD MSP sales for enterprise???
  6. I can see that it is detecting now but it didn't detect for a good few days initially which is when it was active and when it would have caused theft of the cookies. But thanks for all the effort in checking.
  7. As half the planet knows that Linus Tech Tips had their YouTube account hacked by malware which came in via email as a fake PDF document. The malware was created using "Redline malware kit" which is available online and is used by a lot of these hackers now. However my concern is that Malwarebytes is not able to detect this and I am seeing this happen quite often now which makes me really worried. Someone please tell me why I have nothing to worry about when using Malwarebytes please. See attached imaged from VT.
