A Google Chrome extension malware named "Ring" is seemingly impossible to remove. It forces my google searches to be Bing instead, it also stops the usage of all other extensions. Upon launch, it forces Chrome to close, then relaunch the same window, with it now installed whenever I try to uninstall it. It also prevents me from managing my extensions page on chrome, instead, when clicking on extensions, it sends me back to the main settings page. I'm unsure what else it might be doing. It seems Malwarebytes is constantly able to find it, and delete it, and it keeps reinstalling. I've read many forums and tried the following things.
- I've turned Sync off
- I uninstalled and reinstalled Google Chrome in its entirety
- I manually deleted the folders Malwarebytes indicated were the source.
And numerous other things. Attached are the logs post removal. Thank you in advance for any help.
