Hello.
My name is Tiago and I'm ashamed to admit that I tried to install a paid game for free and I ended up paying for it anyway - meaning that the .exe file that was supposed to install my game for free instead opened a prompt command which disappeared a few seconds after. At first I did not give much attention to it, so my day just went on.
The followding day I was wacthing a football game near my Village when I received a notification from Instagram warning me that "my" request to follow someone was accepted - I don't even use this APP that much so I went to check and found out that i suddendly I was following 300+ people. Then a friend of mine called saying that I had been hacked on Steam as well - it was sent with my account a message to each of my steam friends saying to "click this message, get 50$".
I proceeded immediatly to change all passwords across all platforms, and of course, to end the access that the hacker had to my instagramm account all the way from China.
I also changed all my bank credentials, just to be sure, while also removing all credit cards attached to my accounts.
I installed multiple AntiVirus which did not find anything - then I decided to install MalwareBytes which at first found out immediatly FIFTY malwares. I will attach the report file.
Then it ran some automatic analysis which I will also post on here.
The second to last analysis it performed was followed by a restart. Once the restart was completed, two prompts opened and immediatly close. Is it normal?
Is there anything else I can do in order to feel safe using my computer once again?
I really appreciate you take the time reading this. I'm just seeking help.
Best Regards,
Tiago
