  1. I added Malwarebytes to my Android device and attempted to sign in to activate it. (I had 1 unused activation available.) I used the same account login as on Malwarebytes for Windows and on the Malwarebytes web site. On Android, the password was rejected without even trying to log me in. Under the password field was a message "Please use a valid password", with no hint about what might be wrong. By trial and error, I discovered that the Android app did not like a comma in the password. If I replaced the comma with some other special character, the password was allowed. But that would have meant changing the password on the web site and Windows app as well, so I activated the app by using my license key. First of all, if you reject a password, you should say why. As far as I could tell, the rejected password met all the listed requirements. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong. Second, password requirements should be consistent, instead of having different requirements on different platforms. It's particularly weird that the app would not even try to log me in when I used credentials that worked in two other places. Questions: 1. What's going on here? Are password requirements deliberately different on Android? If so, how about providing a help article about choosing a password that will work on all Malwarebytes products? 2. If I don't change my account password (everywhere) to one that the Android app accepts, will I have problems using the Android app?
