Vortex buffer are a group of mod developers that had their mod integrated into the base game for Crypt of the necrodancer, which was made by brace yourself games. Whenever I launch the game, I get an RTP detection. I'm confident this is a false positive. Thanks guys. I just created a new python environment and installed the two packages. Nothing was detected. I suppose they patched it already?

Alright, my window now says I'm running version 4.6.4.286.

Received a detection while installing some python libraries for connecting BigQuery to Jupyter Notebooks, they are likely false detections. I don't remember exactly which one it was but was likely either google-cloud-storage or google-cloud-core I've attached the files. Detection 3.txt Detection 1.txt Detection 2.txt

Canvas replied to Canvas's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
Hey Maurice, I'm sorry, i deleted the file yesterday after i made a submission to Microsoft. The file wasn't zipped. I'll retain the files next time for analysis. Thanks for your recommendation, I already use browser guard. Thanks again for your help! -

In case anyone googles a similar signature: Virus total found nothing when I uploaded the entry. I also submitted to Microsoft. Thanks Maurice for your help. It looks like a false positive. I'll end this thread. -

Wacatac.H!ml detected, is this legitimate?
Canvas replied to Canvas's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
All done. Windows defender is working fine and active. no threats found for the C: drive scan. I'm still cot completely convinced this is a real detection as no unusual behavior was observed. If i had access to the files I would upload them to virus total but they're quarantined. -

Thanks Maurice, I cleared the cache but forgot to clear the history until after the scan was run. Should I re-do it? nothing was detected as per the logs. msert.log -
Windows defender has detected Wacatac.H!ml, despite me not having downloaded anything recently besides steam games. I'm not sure how this is possible and how I could have prevented this. Logs attached below are from after windows defender has quarantined it. FRST.txt Addition.txt scan_results.txt

Hello, Thanks for helping! I've done steps 1 and 2 but i can't complete step 3 as ESET keeps crashing. What exactly do you mean by orphans? This is a relatively fresh install of windows. Could it be leftovers from the previous OS, before I did a factory reset? Glad to hear It's probably not a real detection. AdwCleaner[S00].txt Fixlog.txt -

This might not be the best place to post as this detection might not be the result of malware but I don't really know what this detection means. I have a detection that leads to domain exceljetconsult.com.ng. Upon googling the domain, the site appears to be focused around data analytics using excel. This is a topic I'm interested in and would have been actively researching at the time that the detection occurred. I've attached the logs below. Malwarebytes browser guard has no detection, just the premium. I'm curious to know what this detection means and if I should be worried or not. Thanks! Log files.txt

When i tried to update support assist, I assumed I would be able to do so through another application "Dell update" This updated a diver, from memory it was related to the killer audio driver. Dell support assist currently says I have no updates. When i restart after the fix the popup doesn't appear anymore. Fixlog.txt Thank you so much for your help and patience. I've subscribed to premium to support Malwarebytes. It's amazing this service exists for free.
