  1. Thanks for the reply. Up until now, I have already done all that. I've been doing this routine for Malwarebytes for years. I install the latest version, I uncheck all the apps settings so it's disabled at startup, and remove any scheduled tasks or disabled any services. Then I can easily uncheck the Msconfig box as well. Done and done! But in this latest version, the checkbox in Msconfig is stuck. I'm trying to find out why? Is this a glitch? Or does that mean some process is still starting at boot?
  2. I love Malwarebytes and am I long-time user. But I only use it for on-demand scanning, as needed. I have all the internal program settings turned off so it won't load a start-up or update (to save resources). After installing the latest version, for some reason, when I try to untick the Msconfig box, it simply won't let me. I even checked services, and it says it's disabled. And I tried doing all this in safe mode. It's really weird. It's like a springy ball. I click the uncheck and apply and it's like it just bounces right back. This is new behavior for me and this program. Could always easily uncheck this before. What's blocking it now?
