  1. Hello Malwarebytes team, I would just like to ask a few questions about your product and it's computer protection. I have noticed that Malwarebytes has fantastic exe based protection, better than any antivirus out there. However, I have noticed that Malwarebytes is lacking in the script protection side of things. It would be good to incorporate script protection into your product. I also have another suggestion: you should add another behavioral based detection feature to your product like Bitdefender's. When I create some malicious script files, even if they are not detected by Bitdefender in a scan, they are always detected by BD's behaviour blocking. When the files are run, it monitors the command line and the actions of a process, and when it is terminated, Bitdefender lets you know the process' actions as well, and why it blocked it. I strongly believe Malwarebytes has to add this feature to their product. I hope you follow through with my request and thanks in advance, From JP3SpinoFan
  2. Ok, thank you. I already use Malwarebytes 5. I am just curious why they would not add script detection to their product.
  3. Hi Malwarebytes Team, I would like to know if Malwarebytes 5 is going to have upgraded script blocking capabilities. What I mean by this is malicious scripts are detected as malware, instead of using exploit protection to block them. I would like to know as Malwarebytes scores the highest in my testing with .exe files, but doesn't score well with script files (.vbs, .bat, .cmd, .ps1 and so on). Thanks in advance, From JP3SpinoFan
  4. Some people think that Malwarebytes is not very good. But, I think it is the best security product that has ever existed. Before I knew much about cybersecurity, I started downloading stuff and I got malware. My dad said to use Malwarebytes and he downloaded it for me on my PC. It got rid of all of the malware there. I have been recommending Malwarebytes since I got malware on my PC. I have cleaned so many people's computers with Malwarebytes. One computer that I cleaned had 152,765 malware on it. And that person had Norton Premium installed. Just goes to show how trash Norton is. So, I would like to say a big thank you to all of the Malwarebytes team. Yours Sincerely, JP3SpinoFan
  5. Hello all Malwarebytes users/workers, I did a test where Malwarebytes scanned 552 1 day old malware samples and it detected them all! I am very impressed with Malwarebytes! Great work Malwarebytes team and devs. Keep it up! Screenshot down below:
  6. That would be great. I can't wait until Malwarebytes 5.0 will come out (not a beta). Actually, when will Malwarebytes 5.0 be released to the public? From JP3SpinoFan
  7. Hi Malwarebytes team, I am not looking for malware removal. I am just saying that I think Malwarebytes detects these scripts. I am very happy. I think malwarebytes is the best! From JP3Spinofan
  8. Hello, I decided to do a scan of my computer with Malwarebytes today. It detected a file as Ransom.Script.RTPScript. By the way, this file was a batch file renamed to .txt. What's weird is that Malwarebytes detects it when you do a full scan, but not when you scan the file itself. I will attach a screenshot below. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance, JP3SpinoFan SOMETHING.txt
  9. In my scan, Malwarebytes now detects Kekpop as Ransom.Script.RTPScript. Did you add the file to signatures?
  10. Hello, I have a suggestion. Could Malwarebytes 5 possibly have the ability to detect malicious batch, vbs, ps1 and other scripts. I think that would be a great idea and Malwarebytes would truly be the best AV/Anti-Malware solution on the market. This would make many people happy, including myself. This would be a big step up from Malwarebytes 4.0 Thanks in advance, JP3SpinoFan
  11. Hello, Sadly, from my testing, Malwarebytes did not detect Kekpop ransomware. I ran it and MBAM on a vm and Kekpop encrypted all of my vm's files. I am very sad, but hopefully in the future MBAM will be able to detect Kekpop. From JP3SpinoFan
  12. Just installing VMware on my pc. I'm going to do an RTP test that involves Malwarebytes and Kekpop. Just setting up the VM. I'll tell you the results of the test when it's done. From JP3SpinoFan
  13. I found the file on this website: https://bazaar.abuse.ch/download/89bd722b481dcfe487a56e7bd3d9867a6571720eee9ef47d82cf46274fe8867d/ Thanks, JP3SpinoFan
  14. Ok, here is the ransomware that you asked. Password is infected From JP3SpinoFan Kekpop-sample.zip
  15. Thank you very much, but I have another question. What techniques does Malwarebytes use to detect malware? In my testing, Malwarebytes cannot detect Kekpop Ransomware. Just in case you don't know what it is, it is a ransomware that is made out of batch. Can you please ensure that it does in the next update. Thanks in advance, JP3SpinoFan
  16. Hello, I am a Malwarebytes user and a cybersecurity enthusiast. However, when I was testing my favourite product (Malwarebytes), I found out it couldn't detect BonziBuddy or the ILOVEYOU virus. Can you (Malwarebytes devs and team) make sure these unwanted pieces of malware are detected and removed by MBAM in the next update? Thank you in advance for your support. From JP3SpinoFan
