I don't use Brave Search I use Google as my default search engine. I deleted my full install of brave browser and have reinstalled everything from scratch and resynced. Waiting to see if it happens again. Tabs and windows opening up without any input from me is just out of the ordinary 100%. They are almost like pop-ups. But those should be disabled on my browser completely as I use both braves built-in "shield" feature as well as ublock origin.

An update. Just happened again. I closed a Brave Browser window only for a page to open up promoting "Celo Ultragreen Week" trying to get me to enter into some giveaway. No chance I was clicking on anything related to anything like this. Eager to figure out what the hell is going on. Malwarebytes isn't finding anything on my computer at all. Wondering if there's some sort of browser injection attack going on, or something.

Hey all, I was just watching a youtube video in brave, when my Brave browser opened up a new tab by itself, accessed https://chat.openai.com/chat , and a prompt from Cloudflare came up that said "Are you a human?" with a captcha. I was a bit stunned by this, so I closed the tab after a few seconds, and then opened a new tab by myself, went to ChatGPT by myself (I do not have it bookmarked, it's just in my browser history. No captcha came up and I was not asked if I was a human. This has me tripping out. My hands were up by my face when this happened, kind of leaning on them while I was sitting back in my chair. There is zero chance I hit anything on my keyboard, or anything of the sort to go to the website and open it up. I uninstalled both GPT extensions I had installed for my browser, but so far as I can tell, they should not have been able to do this, as they didn't have any access permissions. I instantly scanned with MalwareBytes and nothing was detected. I've got ALL the protections turned on, including all the protections settings in "Advanced Settings". I also have ALL Windows Defender setting turned on, including memory integrity. What can I do?

Hello, I was checking my Plex server and I noticed these. Since this server has access to file sharing on my LAN, I'm a bit concerned about these detections. Compromised 1.txt Compromised 2.txt
