Thank you btw for all the help on my last post - I found out that my wife disabled McAfee on purpose which leads me to my next post: I'm a bit of a newbie so sorry if this is a dumb question. I have McAfee AntiVirus Plus installed along with MB and I must have something improperly configured because my system is in slow motion. I notice that I keep getting a message from McAfee that the "Real-Time Scanning is Off". When I turn it on, the system bogs down again. Is there a special way I should configure my McAfee or MB to play nice together? thanks tc

I an unable to open MB. I get a windows security alert message "Application cannot be executed. The file mbam.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" Need help - not sure what to do?

I have malwarebytes installed and have recently been told that I needed to install an "IP blocker" to prevent my IP from being accesed. I installed PeerGuardian 2 but it seems that when that application is enabled, Malwarebytes does not seem to work. Do these to applications conflict and should I remove PeerGuardian? Also, do I actually need an IP blocker at all? I do download torrents and have read on the boards there that some sort of IP blocker is highly recommended. thanks in advance
