I downloaded the free version yesterday, because I read that it uses a different type of scanning or something like that. I'm just curious if I will be any safer from a hacker, if I'm using Malwarebytes or not. I got a gaming mouse which is acting weird. Everyone says on every forum, that it is hardware problem. This hardware problem only appears when I'm playing online PVP games. Not when I'm browsing, or when it can't be annoying for me. So for example when I play League of Legends as a jungler, and I'm farming in jungle for gold (thats not the PVP part, because I farming monsters which aren't players) it's all good. As soon as I go for a gank on a lane, boom the DPI sets to very high. So I can hardly aiming my abilities on players. Either very high DPI, or very low, never the DPI value, which is normal for me. And I'm pressing the same mouse buttons. Left mouse button, right mouse button. No, I don't press anything else accidentally. The interesting thing for me is that, at the computer service they found no hardware problems. I switched to Ubuntu from Windows (Yes, I formated the disks, and installed Ubuntu from a safe DVD, which I got from an uninfected place), but the problem remained. So I got back to Windows again, because I like it more. The mouse was still acting like that. Then I changed it to a simple non-gaming office mouse, and since then it is normal. I even know the person, who first hacked my facebook account, then got into my homenetwork, and got into my whole family private life. She is a crazy woman, who always around tech guys, and she has some bitcoin from illegal activities.

Hackers can hide their activity in legit processes via code, DLL injection. Another interesting thing is the hardware firmware rootkit. Both of them are hidden very well. I read everywhere that hardware firmware rootkit is a nationstate level thing, and it is very-very rare. Is it really that rare? For example a gaming mouse or graphics card can be a good target for this type of attack, and as I know no antivirus program can detect those. When speaking about hackers, everyone thinks that I speaking about phishing emails, etc., but I speak about direct attacks, when a hacker wants informations about a person, and he wants to be undetected. So my question is that can Malwarebytes detect these types of hacks?
