  1. Fresh detection, blocked just now log5.txt
  2. Got another detection around 50 minutes ago; log4.txt
  3. Alright, I've just reinstalled Malwarebytes, I'll let you know if I encounter the previous issue again.
  4. Sure, this one was just blocked a bit ago. log3.txt
  5. Happened again randomly after a while, I did 2 account switches in that time as a test.
  6. Apparently there was a new update since yesterday, I downloaded it & will let you know if I encounter the problem again.
  7. switched back to my main account on the game, happened again shortly after, seems to happen when I switch my accounts on the launcher over their account switcher, which uses Xbox live
  8. Hey, I just got it again after doing the same thing, I switched accounts & started up the game, it showed up as it was launching. log2.txt
  9. Hey, I closed Malwarebytes & restarted, I'll let you know if I get the block again. I did get the block 10 minutes ago when I started a new instance of the game on a different account up, but nothing since.
  10. I keep getting this detection on Malwarebytes, I don't know why it's appearing or how to fix it, all I know is that it's related to the game Minecraft, I don't believe there is anything malicious that could be causing it but I just wanted to make sure. I am also running the latest version of Malwarebytes. So why does Malwarebytes keep flagging this?
  11. Yes, everything seems to be working fine again & my windows defender was fixed, I've also safely reinstalled Malwarebytes. Thanks for the help!
  12. Heres the log from the KpRm scan: Once again, thanks for the help! kprm-20220628101313.txt
  13. Hello, I've completed the scan & there was a "VirTool:Win32/DefenderTamperingRestore" detected, I'll attach the log below. There was also another empty file in C:\Windows\debug\ named PASSWD.LOG? (hopefully you can explain what that is) After I finished the scan, I restarted my computer & it fixed my windows defender, but I'm wondering why I would've had this virus? I don't remember downloading anything recently & it only broke after my Malwarebytes trial ended. Could this have been caused by Malwarebytes or does it happen often with the trial? Or did I attain it from an external source? Thanks for helping me fix my issue, I've left the log below so that you can review it! msert.log
