Hi, thanks for your reply. I did everything the Microsoft article said to do, but the hosts file just disappears after I put it in the folder. I have view hidden files enabled in explorer settings, but I still can't see the hosts file once I move it to the folder. I tried installing the antivirus after but the issue is still there. I have had this exact same issue last year and I was able to resolve it, so maybe this would help you

Whenever I try launching the instal file it just closes right away. I had this same virus before but it seems to be worse now. I tried installing AVBR but I just get an error message every time I try opening it. I also tried renaming the file but that also didn't work.

Okay, I tried doing it but after pressing "clean" the app just closes. Nothing happened afterwards, even after rebstaring my pc I can still see Malwarebytes in my program list.

I tried opening the program but I got this error. I'm guessing this is also because of the virus restricting access.

I've been having performance issues for quite a while and I decided to try Malwarebytes to make sure there is no viruses installed. Now I can't even access Malwarebytes after installing it. I already tried FRST and I just need help with creating a fixlist. I found out I don't have access to many hidden folders, I'm assuming because of the virus. Here are the FRST and Addition files.
