  1. @AdvancedSetup I haven't noticed the same issue come up yet! Do you have any idea WHAT this thing was?? Malwarebytes never found it, nor did several other antivirus/malware scanners... I just want to make sure it's not something that can happen again, or figure out where it came from.

  9. There is some kind of Malware on my computer, that is causing Chrome to close, and reopen, then attempt to open a file location: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\chrome_config - at the time we assumed it was a Malware by the name of Energy.exe Steps taken so far: Deleted the above folder, ran MalwareBytes, SpyHunter, Windows Defender, Offline Windows Defender scans. The only one to FIND the Energy.exe was SpyHunter, which then removed it. Issue was not resolved, upon using Registry Editor, discovered several different iterations of the Energy.exe folder and went to great lengths in Safe Mode to remove all of them and was succesful. We'd hoped this resolved the issue, ran a MalwareBytes and SpyHunter scan again to try and identify anything we'd missed, all came back clean. Upon opening Google Chrome again, it attempted to open a newly created file at C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\chrome_bookmarks. We've checked the Registry Editor, and there are no further iterations of energy.exe. We haven't been able to find anything else that looks suspicious, but clearly something is still going on. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
