Thanks for that. I've managed to get all my data off the laptop which is good. I'm now (as we speak) in the process of reinstalling windows 10 from my recovery USB I made a while back. Then to transfer everything back across and install the applications I had before back onto the laptop. Hopefully soon I will have a working laptop again 🤞🏻.

Okay, yeah that seems to be what it is doing. Thankyou for the links. Although I'm disappointed in how this has happened and what scenario I'm in. I do appreciate your help in trying to get it back working for me, so I personally thank you for this. It's another case I guess to remind us how easy something can go wrong and then cause a fatal error in the system in which only a new install of Windows will fix. Regards.

It's the scenario I sadly didn't want to be in. I'm baffled as to how I'm at this stage now, and how the laptop has got to be in such a position. It was working perfectly prior to the update. I can't help but be full of regret for doing the upgrade to version 4.5 on my laptop. If I'd of known this would happen I'd of never ever contemplated the upgrade. I'll continue and try to go about getting my data off the laptop or even take it somewhere else, I'm sceptical about salvaging this before anything else happens.

Also prior to the issue and I don't know if this is relevant but I thought it would be necessary to mention. The computer came up with a message (I can't remember exactly the message) but it was from the security/maintenance area saying the memory was full where the restore memory is held (or alike). It had actions to fix this but failed to fix it, so I found the 2 files that were named in this message to fix and deleted them. I think it might be one of them that does appear on the last scan list. As I say I don't know if this is relevant, but could replacing those 2 files help us or be hindering anything to fix it now?

Hi Sorry for the delay. We must have a time difference, I'm here in the UK and I had to go to sleep as it iwas almost midnight, but thank you for replying to me. I've ran you fix list file, unfortunately the laptop still won't boot and is the same. I'll attach the fix log file here. I'll wait for you to reply for the next steps. Thanks again. Fixlog.txt

There is a option that states it can keep files. I do not know enough on how explicit this is? and I don't want to take the risk, not knowing the full facts of this. The other option within "pc reset" is a complete reset, deletes everything, obviously I'm not going to take this option. The problem I have is I had no laptop to work on to create anything as mine is broke, I have managed now to borrow a laptop from someone thankfully, I'm now creating the usb disc from your link. I'm always extremly concious of what my laptop performs , hence I have never had issues before. I do keep back ups, but certianly not weekly or monthly, had I of known this would lead to this happening, prior to upgrading malwarebytes I would of made a back up. I'm not sure how I have ended up with the laptop in this predicament after doing the upgrade but it is now sadly. And I am hoping this can be recovered back to the great laptop it has been for me with a bit of luck, fingers crossed.
