  1. I’ve done this before. I’ll have to do it again. It’s just weird it happened after all this time. Also, I won’t be able to give you those logs since I’ll away for awhile away from this very system. But, thanks for the help.
  2. Got it. I’m going to uninstall it. So, I won’t have anymore issues. Then, I should be set.
  3. So, what is the major issue between 360 and malwarebytes? Just out of curiosity.
  4. Paszu - thanks for the link Porthos - Got it. I’m guessing it flags a lot of false positives? Also, besides the av …. Is my computer good to go?
  5. Hi all. For the past week my microsoft edge has been generating a .log file. I noticed it in my av log during a random check. But, the thing that has me perplexed is the log time updates every thirty minutes or so. Example, I check the log at 6 am ... it would say the log was done at 5:30 am. If I check back at 6:30 the time would change to 6am. If it popped up once in awhile fine but it keeps updating the time. Below is the description of the .log file. Detailed description: Process:C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\MicrosoftEdgeUpdate.exe Action:Write Path:C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Log\MicrosoftEdgeUpdate.log Don't remind me(0x386cd300) Protection information: FD|10, 10, 30|| I don't use edge at all. I'm not sure if this got triggered because of the last update. But, any insight would be great. Thanks in advance.
  6. Also, I forgot to attach my log the first post. mbst-grab-results.zip
  7. Hi all. First I want to say that I downloaded my malwarebytes directly from malwarebytes.com and nowhere else. With that being said ... here's my issue. Yesterday, my antivirus flagged certain elements of my malwarebytes update. I have it set to automatically download and update in the background. I've never had an issue before and nothing was ever flagged before ... until yessterday. The specific elements of mb it flagged were: mbam.sys mbamswissarmy.sys mbaminstallerservice.exe mbae64.sys and another element with "updatr" in the name. I'm not sure why it flagged these things .... especially if I've been using mb for almost a year and any update whether automatically in the background or manual has never been flagged. Anyway the original (bakcground) update (1) was flagged so I decided to manual do an update (2) and certain elements were flagged again. Then, using the mb support tool I did a removal and fresh install of mb on my pc. But, again ... my av flagged mbaminstallerservice.exe and mbam.sys on the fresh install ... but I allowed them, since I was the one that triggered it, and so the update would finish. Now, this morning, I manually checked for an update. One needed to be done and I allowed it to update/install the latest version of mb and nothing was flagged this time. I did multiple scans with my av, adw, and mb and nothing has popped up since those initial flags. I ran all three this morning and nothing popped up (fingers crossed). Lastly, I sent a log to mb support for review. Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance.
  8. I'm having the same issue. reCaptcha was working fine the other day on Chrome and now I can't login into certain sites that have it. I've tried updating chrome. I scanned my computer with my av, mb, and adw. I restarted my pc. Like you said ... the culprit is the mb browser guard ... when you remove it ... it's fine. When you add it back to chrome the recaptcha stops working again. What gives?
  9. I sent a troubleshooting log via the support tool in on Friday. That’s why I was inquiring about my ticket. Support responded to my regular messages but not the ticket yet.
  10. Hi. I only received an automated reply from support on Friday. Nothing else.
  11. Hi. I started a support ticket on Friday. I start a new job tomorrow and I really need to know the status of my ticket - 3833526. This is only computer I have and I really need it for work.
  12. I downloaded an update to my av but then I got a warning that the website the av came from was marked as a Trojan. The update downloaded before I could stop it. So, I sent a log to check if anything was on my PC before I log into anything important. I’ve been scanning my computer for the past four days and nothing has come up but I sent a long on Friday so they could do a further look. My ticket number is 3833526.
