  1. Maybe it will, and maybe it won't. But I'm taking away the excuse that, "No one ever complains!" Well, yes, they do. Here I am, complaining about it. It's obnoxious and it sucks and there are an awful lot of Web developers who behave like they know what's best for everyone who need a lesson in manners. If I can't turn it off, it's not a feature.
  2. When I logged in at https://my.malwarebytes.com, it asked me if I wanted to try the new dashboard. I agreed, which sent me over to https://my.beta.malwarebytes.com/sign-in. I signed in again, but some red text appeared after authenticating, and then I got sent right back to the login page. (The page refreshes so quickly that I couldn't see the text.) Is there a cookie set somewhere that I can delete that will let me back into the "classic" site? And why is the login on the "beta" site failing? And is there a better place to contact MWB about the site itself? All of the Support contact options are about the software. There doesn't seem to be anything anywhere about the operation of the site. --J
  3. Am I the only one who is annoyed by the fact that as I'm typing in my e-mail address to log in, some red text keeps appearing and disappearing telling me the e-mail address I've entered is invalid. I'M NOT FINISHED TYPING YET! The same thing goes for the password field. I use a password manager. I put in my e-mail address (ignoring the nagging red text) and then Alt-Tab over to my password manager to get my password. When I Alt-Tab back, the password field is highlighted in red: THIS FIELD IS REQUIRED I know. For crying out loud, people! GIVE ME A CHANCE TO FILL IT OUT BEFORE TELLING ME ALL THE THINGS YOU DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE WAY I FILLED IT OUT! That's not to mention, of course, that no one - zero people - need all that JS running on a login page. It's wasted CPU cycles, multiplied by every page load on every client that hits this site. It's a colossal waste of resources just to irritate me. Turn that crap off. I know how to log into things. If I did it wrong, guess what? You can validate the fields after I submit them and tell me what I did wrong. Until then, just sit and wait politely. Stop trying to "help" me so much. >:-( --J
