  1. Found answer in malwaretips.com. In Edge, remove its entry in Cookies and Site Permissions > Notifications. Surprised no virus programs at all catch that.
  2. I'm getting Windows notifications from Edge browser citing a bad boy - gooddaywith-captcha.top The machine has McAfee installed and doesn't see it. Malwarebytes (installed) scan shows nothing - but does intercept when I click on the notification. Adaware install / scan shows nothing. I have deleted related gooddaywith-captcha.top files I'm *guessing* *maybe*this thing is generating the notifications to Edge. Which, I suppose, antivirus would not intercept? I've disabled Edge notifications from other senders, as well as a bunch of notifications not really needed. Waiting to see what happens. Does this line of reasoning make sense? Anything else I can / should do to suppress this rubbish? Thanks, KMC
