Malware.Sandbox.1 - Malware Type, File
Eagles replied to Eagles's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
Hello, I was up checking my desktop and I cannot get to the internet. All my other computers can get there. How can I take my computer back to a previous recovery point? Last time this happened it was a trojan. I am so frustrated and concerned. -

Will do. I will run the Microsoft Security Scanner on my laptop. I know I will diable Vipre. This is probably a silly question. However, I will ask it knowing I am a bit over excited with all of the virus stuff I have been through. I ran all of my scans in Malwarebytes and Vipre this morning and all were good. No malware or virus stuff. However, I stepped away from my desktop and there was a message that said Adobe Acrobat not found, type in the file again. It was something like that. I had to click ok to get out of the box. Should I be concerned? -

Hello, I apologize for the delayed response. I did restart the computer. All seems well. However, Malwarebytes quarantined the malware.sandbox file in my laptop. Also associating it with the TWK30 Toolkit file. I deleted it. Should I run the Microsoft Safety Scanner on my laptop. I do not understand how this file got into my laptop. Thank you and have a nice Easter. -

Running the Microsoft Safety Scanner now. I thought I was finished and have been in my email this morning. Now I am concerned about infection, exposure, and risk. I was running my Malwarebytes and all of a sudden it said I was not protected and I tried adding the license key and it did not accept. Will follow up with the report. Here is the msert.log. I will wait to hear back from you. This file identifies Vir Tool:Win32/DefenderTamperingRestore - Removed. Does this mean I can reload my Malwarbytes. I will wait to hear back from you. Blessings, msert.log -

I have re-enabled Vipre and worked through the configurations as instructed. I do not care about Java being on my machine. Will you advise after you review the Fix file I sent to wrap up everything. I appreciate everything you did to assist me and your patience, especially since I am not technical. I will wait to hear back to wrap up. God bless you Eagles -

I cannot stop Vipre. The computer says denied. I tried several ways to stop the three Vipre files, even changing my mouse. Still not able to stop it. Should I delete Vipre and reinstall it later? Also, I stopped the scan in Malwarebytes and deleted the quarantined malware.sandbox.1 threat . My computer rebooted. I ran another Malwarebytes scan and it was successful, not detecting any threats. So, at this point I have a computer without Java. Sorry. -

One last question, do I disable malwarebytes as well. I still have it running slowly right now. I am not technical so please excuse my questions, and I am trying to do this myself without help. -

I am a novice. Please help. I did not download anything. This file is a personality workshop file that I have not used in a while. This is a scan in my Local C drive.
