  3. OK - THANK YOU - YES - I did notice that default setting change AND turned them on again. I'm thinking that you say ALSO turn them off now ......
  4. THANK YOU Porthos "my brother". I say that because I incorporate and use "D'Artagnan" as \ in some of my various user account registration information.
  5. I unchecked it and now no RTP notifications. I have had that setting checked since I have used this computer for a little over 1 year now and never had this happen before. I always thought that setting was to block hackers from gaining access when I'm using the internet.
  6. ...... AND just for FYI this is my first time using any type of forum so I'm not versed in the proper ways to respond to message and use these windows to reply
  7. YES I DO HAVE THAT SETTING CHECKED

  9. Hello and thank you for your time. I'm not well versed or comfortable with understanding technical issues and procedures for making system changes or understanding proceedures to record and fix problem in my computer. My issue started almost 1 week ago with RTP \ exploit warnings when opening a MSWord document. AFter a day or 2 it just stopped BUT is now blocking MS Publisher from opening "online". There have been 2 or 3 different types of RTP notifications. I haven't mADE SYSTEM CHANGES; DOWNLOADED ANY NEW SOFTWARE OR PROGRAMS. I don't use any Cloud based programs i.e. OneDrive or sync my computer with any external devices except for having a wireless printer connection. The recent "exploit" information stated something about not allowing my network printer to go "online" and allowing offline doesn't connect or open publisher now also. I have run all malwarebytes AND Windows defender security updates and do that every morning before I do anything else. I have ran windows defender full system and offline scans, as well as daily basic maywarebytes virus scans and also have run Malwarebytes full system scan and nothing reports a virus. I also have run the online windows SFC file health check scan and there were no reported corrupted or changes file found. I also have run the AdwCleaner program and there were no detections; I also ran a system default settings basic repair and when that didn't work I ran a repair with checking to reset all the available options and that didn't change anything. I have also found the malwarebytes support tool and have tried each of the 3 processes and nothing has changed. I've attached the 2 files that were generated and saved to my desktop from doing so. PLEASE HELP mbst-grab-results.zip mbst-fix-results.txt
